Before i bought my YJ i really wanted a
scrambler. Then i found out how
expensive they are. After seeing a few
really nice lifted TJ unlimiteds, I
decided that it would be sweet to

Seems like most people want 35’s
for street or trail. I wrote this as a
reference guide on what you’ll
need to do it right. Yes, you can do it

Well, after reading a few other threads
I have become more interested in budget
junkyard upgrades. What I mean when I
say "budget junkyard upgrades" are

OK, I didn't know exactly where to put
this, but my Jeep Truck has a Cj-2
engine/drivetrain (except the 1-ton rear
axle). So Moderators, move it if you
don't think it belongs.

Brought the new project, 1985
Yellow CJ-7, home last night.
I should say that I brought
all the parts home. I got
this Jeep from my brother who
started to restore it but
stopped about 10% into it. He
bought many new parts, mostly
cosmetic, nothing to help in
the repair of sheet metal. No
pictures yet as I am not
really a picture taker but I
will try for the sake of
documentation.
