im replying tp your post , i was having the same issues with my jeep as well , i took it to a transmission shop ,as it turns out it was the transmission that was going bad ,sorry .....it had to be completely rebuilt .....the torque converter was bad and a few other componets as well cost me close to $2000. here in canada
