I am in no way affiliated with Fishbone Offroad. Only a verified buyer and very satisfied customer.

Why did I choose Fishbone?

First of all, the quality is unsurpassed. Having a history with purchasing products from Fishbone, I expected top notch light bar brackets and extremely helpful customer service.. I was not let down on either account. Not only did every bolt hole line up, and every bend contour to the JK windshield frame perfectly, these things are heavy duty. The powdercoating that comes standard on these is also very good quality. It was applied very evenly, matches the texture of their other products, and has been drug through brush and limbs on our unmaintained trails without scratching, chipping, or showing any signs of wear.

The aftermarket world has become extremely saturated and prices have been inflated so ridiculously, companies are charging almost $300 for BARE light bar mounts... I'm sorry, but that is BS. Fishbone produces top shelf products, powdercoated and all, for a price that average guys like me can afford.

Features

As stated before, these light bar brackets feature extremely heavy duty steel construction, well built craftsmanship, and professional grade powdercoating.

Slot for the light bar to slide into. There is also a round hole just behind the slot that I will be using for limb risers.

The gussets placed on the top of the brackets strengthen the mounts and prevent flexing and bending.

Each bracket has a pedestal at the bottom featuring a slotted hole to fit virtually any LED pod or round off road light. After installing Hella 500 driving lights on these mounts, I opted to buy some LED pods instead just for looks.

Install

Installation of these brackets, couldn't be easier. Remove the 5 bolts on the A pillar, make sure foam gasket is placed properly, line up the holes, and replace the original bolts. I ran into no issues when installing these.

Verify light bar dimensions before buying! These are definitely for a 52" LED light bar. I used the infamous Eyourlife LED light bar from amazon. Mounting surface to mounting surface on light bar is 51.7" so there was a small gap on each side between light bar and mounts preventing the bolts from tightening all the way. However, Eyourlife sends rubber gaskets to place under the included 90* mounts that are not used with these light bar brackets. The rubber gaskets included with the light bar fit perfectly between the light bar and the brackets. This prevents the light bar from rotating, vibrating, or moving, even with brush and limbs banging against the light bar.

The LED pods installed on their designated mounts perfectly with no issues. The light bar and the pods are held out of the driver's view, for the most part, so there is no visual interference.

Function

These mounts hold the light bar fairly close to the windshield and about even with the top of the windshield, depending on which light bar you use. This results in lower air drag, and prevents the dreaded "whistle" most get with a light bar, requiring the addition of door trim on the light bar cooling fins.

Conclusion

Between the unsurpassed quality, unbeatable prices, and customer service that is second-to-none, I would purchase again and recommend to anyone looking for light bar brackets without overpaying for them. Whether it's a $50 light bar from ebay, or an $1800 light bar from Rigid Industries, install it using a high quality mount for a seamless and professional installation.
