Anyone use the rattle can spray on liner on their bumpers? How is it holding up and what did you do for prep? Just got my Rokmen in, the Besrk should be here in August and I was pondering spraying both with rattle can liner. Pics would be great. Thanks
x2 Krylon fusion for the prep work washed with soap and water and then wiped them down with acetone. Did the fenders in April holding up great to the rocks and mud no chips or anything like that. If you get gas on them it stains it I have noticed that but looks great and it's cheap I used the Ultra Flat Black.
:2c:In my opinion, DO NOT USE DUPLICOLOR!!! I have used it on the bumpers of my wife's TJ and found it to be a terrible product. It chips, flakes, and is just all-around garbage. Her front bumper had to be stripped back down to bare metal and refinished, and her rear bumper had rusted bad enough because of the poor finish/seal of the duplicolor, that I had to replace it.
I since have had a great experience with Herculiner roll-on bedliner on my bumpers, sliders, fender flares, grill, and inside the tub.

personally after seeing what herculiner looks like in my tub after mud, snow, rain and how hard it is to clean i would not go the herculiner route for exterior
i think I'm going to rattle can it for now and if I don't like it, I'll do liner. I was more concerned about how easily the paint would chip off hence the liner
Im a big fan of raptor liner. Its $100 a kit but thatll practically cover your entire jeep. I cant say I like any kind of bedliner on the exterior but to each his own....
I would suggest monstaliner. It is 100% UV Permanent so it wont fade. Also there are some great reviews and right ups on this site. I havent hered one bad thing about it. HERE
I was going to herc it for 2 reasons. The first being that I was thinking that it would hold up better to chipping and abuse. The second is because of the texture. Kind of a stupid reason, but If i ever decide to stand on it, I won't slip lol
