Well my wife told me earlier today that we can go Jeeping at Haspin Acres and picnic in the woods..

Any advice for me, I have not taken the Liberty off the road yet..
its rare to get out without breaking something. even when i go on quads somebody wrecks themselves. if you end up going to the hospital the closest one treats off roaders like we are the spawn of satan. i haven't been since i was riding an 80cc quad tho so it may have been a few years lol

Crazycollinz beat me to it, I was gonna post stuff about Jeep Jam. Anyways I will be there both days of the event.

Also I live in Kettering so if anyone is going wheeling and doesn't mind another tagging along I would be down to go.

Hey, me too!:highfive: What's your Jeep look like? I've prolly seen it somewhere...

I saw a decked out red Liberty driving in Dayton a few days ago, lifted, tires, roofrack, the works and a JeepForum decal. Anybody know who it is?

the tire ramp looks a bit sketchy but it was solid :p interior is lined and the carpets out. 1.5" homemade lift...basically like a shackle lift but with out the shackles...lol my frame rusted out in the back so i put the leaf spring mounts under the frame instead of thru it and then made some brackets for the front. no sway or track bars. making a front and rear bumper, rockers, and maybe tube fenders here soon. should meet up sometime and talk beers with jeeps in our hands lol:p

Hey guys - I'm in Loveland. I've only been off-roading once, had a lot of fun. Definitely interested in checking out some of the local trails/parks....I've only been to the Badlands so far.

I just ordered a bunch of parts (mostly related to lift & skid plates), and it'll be about 3 weeks before I finish things up - then I'll be ready to hit the trails again!

If anyone has experience setting up adjustable control arm suspensions (Currie short arm), I could probably use a little help, if anyone is willing :) I think I have all the needed tools, but I do not have a sawzall.....might come in handy for some of the rusted bolts.

Anyway, I hope to meet up with some of you guys in the near future. I'll try to check back on this forum periodically, but feel free to PM me!

The wife will be looking for/getting a job whenever we get out there, and try to finish school whenever she's eligible for in-state tuition as well though.

I just went to the off road park over in Oxford last weekend for the first time. The guys claimed it was 60 miles ofr trails, but they looped around a bunch of times. There is a easy and hard side of the park. It had some nice hill climbs and ran through a creek the whole way back. There is a waterfall/ledge at the back of the hard section, but we didn't make it back there because a buddy's rig lost reverse and we had to drive our rigs home.

It is a low key type of place and don't expect help if you break down back there unless other Jeepers would help you. Its a low key operation that isn't advertised.
