Hi everyone,
I just replaced my driver side doorjamb switch for the dome lights. This replacement certainly wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, but I got it done.
I just bought this 2004 TJ and the switch was broke when I bought it. After installation the dome lights work 5 by 5.
What worries me is that whenever I open either door the digital odometer displays the mileage. I haven't noticed this happening until I replaced the doorjamb switch. I have a Dodge truck, it doesn't do this! Maybe I’m just being paranoid, I don’t know.
Is this a jeep thing, or do I have an electrical short somewhere?
The jeep certainly hasn't given me any symptoms of an electrical issue; can someone confirm this for me?
Thanks,
Josh
