Let this thread be an inspiration to all of us doing mods, maintenance, or repairs.

I'll start it off, over the holiday weekend, I did an oil and filter change, fixed a couple rattles, did the front brakes (new rotors and pads), and swapped the brake fluid.

Joe, who built your roll cage?
A friend of mine (socalchef) & I did most of it over a weekend, with a couple items done a little later by mrblaine from over in the TJ section.

Here's an example of some of socalchef (Adam) work:

I borrowed a JD2 hydraulic tube bender and a notcher from a friend. Plus we used Bend-Tech EZ-3D software to help design it.

changed a cracked thermostat housing, thermostat, the oil, took my 2yo for what she calls a "sweet jeep ride" she's 2.5yo and knows the diff b/n a cj and yj. my wife seems to think there are more important things to teach a 2yo. my reply to her was "like what?"

Painted inside door panels of my 91 yj

I took off the inside door panels, the grab handles, the slots for the soft top portion of the door and the pull handle/locking mechanism of my 91 yj's door's. I cleaned them off, sanded them down a little and the painted them with a DupliColor glossy black. A few coats later, I took them back outside for installation. Pretty clean looking now and now i have my dash to do next.
