Let this thread be an inspiration to all of us doing mods, maintenance, or repairs.

I'll start it off, over the holiday weekend, I did an oil and filter change, fixed a couple rattles, did the front brakes (new rotors and pads), and swapped the brake fluid.

Lincoln locker in the Ford 8.8 rear diff. Welded some bracing on top of the diff to the sides of the tubes. Welded the tubes into the differential housing. Put gear oil in. Oil change. New windshield today I hope. I was welding till about 11:30 last night then back to work this morning at 6.

'91 YJ 4.0 3" springs w/spring over. SYE with Ford 8.8 Lincoln Locked axle. Custom track bars in the rear. 35'' BFG MT KM2's. Hi-Lift and sway bar quick disconnects.

ALMOST finished my axle swap, everything is in order except for the rear brake lines...anybody have any recommendations for ordering rear brake lines? Just buy a roll of line and bend it out?

It went together fairly seemlesly, really no hangups that I can think of. First time I have made it through a projet without cussing and hitting things, and I did this without a helping hand as well...pretty impressed with myself:D

Just get a line and bend it. I had to splice a section in to my rear brakes after a grinder mishap.

Wheeled the heck out of it....
I picked up the kids from school in the Jeep. It was still raining pretty good.
So they started pointing at the big puddles, then the bigger ones, then the small lakes, then it was time for mud bogging and climbing the muddy hillsides.
We had a blast. Got mud everywhere, but hey, I have a pressure washer.
Amazing how that front locker really makes a huge difference.
