Let this thread be an inspiration to all of us doing mods, maintenance, or repairs.

I'll start it off, over the holiday weekend, I did an oil and filter change, fixed a couple rattles, did the front brakes (new rotors and pads), and swapped the brake fluid.

Today, i bought my first YJ!

I've had a Comanche, Cherokee, Grand Wagoneer and Grand Cherokee...so it was long past due!

It's an 88 with 103k original miles. Pretty darn clean.

Have a look:

ah yes......the natural flow......ebb and tide.....evolution, per say, of jeep ownership.
(aren't all those listed "none" round headlights?):tea:

In the process of fixing '92YJ for my daughters.:brickwall

They would like it painted a white with orange accents (everywhere mine is black they want orange). So, since I have to replace the hood on my '89, I decided to experiment and see what it would look like with the center section painted to match the top and fender flares.

prepped and masked

painted.

Nothing to fancy, just wanted to see if I liked the "look". 3 outa the 4 girls liked it and I don't think it looks too bad.:2thumbsup:

new thermostat, gasket, and temp sensor (the one by the firewall on the head). would you believe that if that damn sensor goes bad it will make your jeep run like a pile of crap?
