Looks pretty good, i took a lot of pictures so I was thinking about doing a write up, what do ya think? Updated with more pictures.

Alright, here we go

Before

Installing

Painting :2thumbsup:

Im going to meet up with him soon and Ill take some more during the day and some full body shots, so keep an eye out for those. Were gunna caulk the gaps and probable repaint them again so it doesnt look messy at all. Overall I like the look and now hes road legal :)

The next day

The white under the flare is the only thing that looks bad, so were gunna take a shot on fixing that tomorrow

Looks good, how about a pic looking straight at the side so we can see both flares?

FAIL
Doesn't follow lines of original fender and of course the ole white sticking out underneath. I know it's gonna upset some people b/c I call it the way I see it but it looked better b/4. But, if the owner likes it I guess it doesn't matter. It's his rig so opinions shouldn't really matter to him.

These were installed for looks and not any function, right?
Leaving the fender untrimmed doesn't give you any more clearance for flexing.
I believe the whole idea about fender flares is to give you more room to flex, thats why you trim, and keep the mud from flying out all over the side.
I would have picked another style of flares. Those look like garden border/edging. Sorry. That's just my opinion.
If your happy thats all that matters.

We did it because he got pulled over twice for the tires sticking out, in pa is illegal for them to stick out more than 1.5 inchs and his was like 3 lol

I'll agree completely it looks terrible. The last thing I wanted to do was to drill holes in my fenders for anything other than bushwackers but my lack of $500 and need to drive my vechicle at the moment doesn't help. I do plan on putting bushwackers on it in the very near future as soon as I get the money. The only reason these are on there is because I've been pulled over and fined and told my vechicle would be towed if it was ever seen on the road again even though I've driven it around for months without cops ever pulling me over. As I said before I also hate the look of it but it's solely function over looks right now until I get bushwackers.

Feel free to donate to my cause and get these ugly flares off my jeep.

I think they look good for a cheap ZJ flare. Our ZJ's don't have many options for flares unless you can dish out $450 - $500 bones. Yeah, it doesn't exactly match the fender lines, but some trimming and paint could mask that! For those of us who live (or in my case, will live) in those Nazi "tires sticking out from the fender" states, this did the trick. Also, I'm trying to think of better ways to mount them to the fender than just jamming a screw into them. The flares show some pressure on them from over torquing the screws. Any help on how to mount them better? - Overall I like them!
