Installed roof lights and made a switch panel for my lights

Got rid of the crappy lights that I bought with my roof bar (no offence to the place I got them from... but they rusted, fogged over, and nearly fell apart after 5 months) and bought some Hellas. Also found a set of KC's for the front grille.

Bought the panel off ebay for $20. Came with the lighted switches and the 30a fuses. Think it was for an RV or something. Ok, I only made SOME of the switch panel :p

Gutted the useless panel that was where this one is (the one that says 4lo and 4hi) and installed this in the remains.

Also gutted a small power inverter (the kind that plugs into the cigarette lighter) and found an outlet to mount to it.

Ran 8 gauge wire to the panel from the battery (with a 40a fuse near the battery) and wired the roof lights to one switch and the grill lights to another. Both are wired through relays as I was melting the 30a fuse for the roof lights without it!

Im not feeling the round lights on top, I think it would look alot better with rectangle lights on top but thats just my opinion.
I think it looks great!

love the switch/plug panel. i just dont have the heart to remove my VIC
X2 I would probably look for another place to put it in. I am halfway tempted to dabble into fiberglass construction and fab something up.
