That is the exact setup I was looking at. Looks amazing!
I like it with 37" tires. Seems perfect.
What driveshafts did you go with? And what clearance do you get. I unfortunatle need to clear a parking garage height of 6'10" at work, which is holdingme back from a 6" kit right now.
haha.. i just went out and checked.. im sitting 6'9. that was a eye ball view from standing at 6'3. its kinda raining hard i will check tomorrow when i can get something to stand on to check it better...
and driveshafts... i went with the JE Reel 1350 driveshafts.. went through Northridge4x4.. they make different ones for man. trans and autos...
Looking good man. I'm glad you don't live around here to make mine feel bad about being a midget next to it! The 6" lift looks fantastic and you're right, it does make the tires look smaller. I would have guessed them at 35s.
thanks everyone.. this is still soaking in for me... lol...
also.. i do have old parts that came off my jeep up for sale..
3" Full traction springs..
front and rear adjustable trac bar
rear upper adjustable control arm
JE Reel OEM Replacement 1310 Front and rear driveshafts.
also have 4 R.E Mono Tube Shocks. rated for 3.5-5.5 lift...
Congrats Bigen good looking Jeep it's all coming together. Huge rear wheel. Wheels do LOL small under the lift but great choice keep us updated on future mods if u still have any cash left. LOL
Odd question I guess. Are the components the same on the 3" long arm kit the same as the 6" kit, but with shorter springs?
I ask because I have a 2.5" BB right now, but really like how you're set up looks. I was thinking that I could get the 3" long arm later and just keep the BB on to sit at about 5.5".
The components for the most would be the same, control arms and such. But you would wanna make sure the shocks, brake lines and otheres items will accomodate. Check with Carl (screen name "TeraFlex") to be sure what would be the same.
And you would be able to do what you are suggesting but if your buying the 3" springs, I would think it that it couldn't be that much more for the 6" springs and it would be a better overall setup than using 3" springs and a BB spacer.
That looks amazing
Im looking forward to getting that same lift myself, how much of a difference does the long arm make the ride feel?
