Not much going on in the Metro. Some kids down around Shakopee do some illegal stuff i believe. Check out MN-jeep and try to get on a trail ride with some of those guys. I would also say check out "Apple Valley Farms" over in WI. Lots of people go over there to wheel and i know they have some trail rides coming up. Drop me a PM if you are heading out, i might make the scene.

What mods have been done to your XJ?

well I'm all for illegal... haha. I'd have to get up on my tech inspection before i hit up Apple valley but that definitely looks like a place i will be heading to... looks like they have a couple weekends coming up soon.

Right now my rig is not that special I just have the econo lift (spacers and shackles) and 30's but im hoping to upgraded in the summer. not quite sure what to go with though. any suggestions?

I have been typically all cool with the illegal spots but I am growing up and trying to avoid the shady stuff!

Its like we used to say in drag racing... "speed costs money how fast do you wanna go?" Lots of good 4x4 shops here in the Metro. Check out "Iron Rock Off Road" down in Shakopee They have a few nice kits for XJ's, they work well and are very competitively priced. Also "Off Road Only" here in StPaul does some nice stuff too.

The tech is easy to pass, just check your battery tie down (pick up a $4 one at walmart if you need one), and tow point kits can be bought online for less than $150 front and rear. Is the XJ your daily driver?
