This will give me enough time to get all the stuff thats sitting in my room put on the jeep and also add what I get for christmas. I dunno if I am gonna stay the night and wheel sunday too but definatly gonna be wheelin saturday. Hopefully it is nice and snowy!! I have talked to a few friends already and one or two of them have confirmed they will be coming. If anyone else wants to come your more than welcome.

I read that some maybe trailering down. No way a trailer can make the turn coming in from Owenton. They will have to drive past the park about a half a mile there is an easy turn around at the bottom of the hill. Then they can make it in. They will also have to do the turn around going back out. This sounds like a good day wish I didn't have to work.
pyrow,
I have seen a bunch of stockers down there. You'll be fine! As far as recovery points.... you need to get them anyway. get some of the cheapos for now. We'll set you up later. If you live close to Brad then you live close to me. And I love to fab things up. Even if you do drive a TJ...

Brads_nky_yj (Brad) Me and a buddy of mine will be meeting you guys at the park and would like to ride with your group if that's cool. I have a white TJ and he has green TJ. We should be there before 10:30 hopefully so we look forward to seeing you guys there! -Tommy

well if you get hung up at least you'll be able to call. What about those hooks?

TJ'S 98 TJ, you can ride with us thats not a problem. I hoping that we get down there around 10:30/10:45. That way we can be on the trails by 11:00. Hopefully the trails dry out a little by tomorrow cause that places sucks when its super wet. By sucks I mean you cant run that many of the more difficult trails because of the slickness. If its somewhat dry then the day shoudl be awesome. Me and my dad ^^^^(Bigboyky) have been down there when it was pretty dry and ran some of the much harder trails just fine. Thats what Im hoping for. That way we can all still get muddy and still get some nice trail runs in. Oh and everyone bring cameras!! Im bringin mine and would love to make a trail report out of this with some nice pics. Nolan, dont forget to call me later about pickin up those tow hooks and inline fuse for your CB. I have em with me today. Again everyone have a safe trip either to the park or Owenton and I;ll see you on the trails. If tomorrow goes super well we will definatly have another trail run again this month. Thanks!!

my plan is to meet up with my buddy at 9AM and get to owenton at about 10:15 according to map quest, i plan on speeding heavily though so might get there a little earlier.

judging by the fact that there has been no precipitation since wednesday and it was just a dusting of snow id say the trails should be pretty dry, then again ive been known to be wrong on occasion.

yeah i plan on meeting with some guys here in nky around 9 and then heading down to owneton and getting there around 10:00. Yeah im figuring the trails should be pretty dry. Im hoping they are cause that way everyone could do alot of trails. of course we wont run anything crazy (unless you guys with bigger meats and lockers, etc want to) but we can still do alot of their moderate-hard trails.

what are we going to do about airing down? i dont have OBA or a tank, im sure no one else does either.

if we cant air down im ok with running regular pressure, might get use out of my lockers. im going to set my pressure at 25lbs tonight. it'll be a little off but i can manage.

I dunno bout airing down? Me and my step dad usually never air down mainly because of the fact that we dont have OBA. well he has a small compressor but it sucks and takes like 5 min per tire. If someone does have OBA that would be awesome if not we should still be fine running normal pressure. I run my tires @23-25 always anyway. Again mine are only 10.5" wide.

The york OBA mod is gonna be my task in Feb hopefully. Then we will always have OBA!! lol

My friend went to HNH in a stock land rover and did ok, not great but he survived. You have a jeep, I would take a stock jeep over a modified land rover any day, you will be fine.

I have a small electric compressor mounted under my hood to air up. Takes about 2 minutes to fill up my 31" tires from 18 psi to street pressure (for my tires thats about 35 psi) so it does ok. Won't be able to fill everyone up but if a few people want to use it thats fine as long as we give it a break after each jeep to let the compressor cool down cuz it gets hot.

it means because you are a minor in the state of kentucky that you need to have your parents sign that form and take it up to Mail Boxes or some place were they have a notary and get it done before you get to the park.

it legally releases the park from you as a supervising adult.

Basically just have your parents write a letter stating that they give you permission to ride and that if anything does happen it is not the fault of Hillz N Hollarz. Bring it and if whoever is operating the park tomorrow asks about your age just give that or show that to them. It shouldnt be a problem. Again we are meeting at the Subway in Owenton around 10:00ish tomorrow morning and will try and be at the park by 10:30ish. All directions for everything are on page 3 I believe. If you just want to meet at the Park the address is also on page 3. Hope to see everyone there.

Oh,
OK, didn't know how strict about it they would be.
I'm actually bringing my Dad with me, so that shouldn't be a problem...
Will they bet mad at me if I don't have a muffler?
I'm saving up for a new one, I PROMISE!

Also,
is this a cash-only thing?
Just trying to be prepared.

Muffler?? hehe no not at all.. As long as you pay and dont drink out on the trails you will be fine. And since you are bringing your dad with you, you are definatly fine. You will have to pay $10 bucks for you to drive and $5 for him to ride, or just get him to pay lol And then you both will have to sign the waiver. Thats it. They are not THAT strict but do enforce rules, hell me and my dad have had to enforce rules before lol

Awesome.
I should be there.
I'll be leaving my Rineyville around 8:30 (Hopefully earlier, but probably not)
Should be ready for wheeling by the time I get there. WHoo!
THis is my first trip.
I'm so EXCITED.
Hope I don't break a u-joint, though, I just replaced one, don't want to have to again!
lol.
