Im in Madison!

There are hardly any organized Jeepers down here. There are a bunch up north, but not around Dane County. Would anyone be interested in starting a little group down here for southern Wisconsin? Nothing serious, but something so that we had a bit of Jeep community that we didnt have to drive 5 hours to get to.

I'm a member of Legendary Civilian Jeepers (www.lcjs.org) but aside from the monthly club meeting being in Madison this month, everything happens at least 3 hours north, if not more.

Milwaukee here too... I'm a senior engineering student at the Milwaukee School of Engineering - originally from Appleton, WI area.

The SE WI group sounds like a great idea that was mentioned in this thread... It'd be nice to have a group of guys to do some local riding with. But, like already mentioned, I'm not sure the amount of trails real close...

I was just thinking the other day, anybody know of any good dirt road stretches or other lesser-developed public roads just to get out on a ride and enjoy some fall color? Beautiful time of the year to be on a dirt road...

My brother went to MSOE for a while but then switched things up.

Not dirt roads but the southern unit of the kettle moraine by Eagle is a great place to go enjoy the colors. Take 94 west and 67 south and then just puts around on the roads. These were my stomping grounds when i was in high school.
