When you guys want to crawl some rocks,,,,head up to the Black Hills.
I live in Rapid,,,and go wheel'n regularly.
Also, I travel (to and through) Scottsbluff regularly. You guys must have to look HARD for wheel'n spots.
The best kept secret for wheeling in Nebraska is Lake McConaughy. You need a park permit to access the beach, but here is what you will find if you go to North Shore, head to the beach, and drive back to the west till you run into the ledges
Chadron, NE does have some trails just South of here, about 8 miles from town. Mostly forest service land (most trails have closed), but the ones that stayed open do offer some excitement. Stock rigs have no issues getting through them taking some simple routes, while the lifted guys get to have a little bit more fun. I don't think I have any photos on hand, but if you want some more details send me a PM.
New to Scottsbluff. Anyone around here want to go wheeling?
