No need to get snippy, you never mentioned that you tried the instructions and they didn't work. I am aware that they don't work which is why I had the dealer do it to mine.
Like it says in THIS THREAD if the instructions do not work you need to either 1. Have the dealer do it or 2. Learn to live with it.
The dealer has had to turn some of them off because the instructions in the Owners Manual don't work on all of them. Whether it's a glitch in the programming (it is just a computer) or it's the technique I have no answer. Since yours is still "new" just tell the dealer that they owe you one and get it for free.
Believe it or not, I followed the manual and it worked. When you hit the button, don't hold it down just press for about 1 sec
