Let's see what y'all got for photographicalness.

Photos by YOU. It doesnt have to be some artsy thing either. Seen a thread like this on another forum and it was really cool.

I'll start with one of my favorites

One more for sparkchaser (different girl). It's tough finding shots that wouldn't be inappropriate to post. :)

Darth Maul RULES!!

Thanks!! It's still a work in progress as with everything else,,,,including my camera. I'd like to get the newest version of Photoshop. I have 5.0 right now. Also would like to get PS Lightroom. There are some amazing pictures in this thread that have been edited with both of them.

Here is a picture that I took today after the ones of my Jeep. First one straight from the camera and the second slightly edited with PS.

Well, we had some time on our hands and my brother-in-law has an apple notebook with built in camera that has all these features, so we decided to do some funny pics...

Well, to start, I do need to prove we are normal looking people. Here we are during our trip to Colorado in July 07.

NOW, TO THE FUNNY PICS...

My daughter and brother-in-law

Wife and I

My handsome mug

My wife, who in this pic looks like something from Beatle Juice

Some pics from our trip to Cave of The Winds, CO

I have Lightroom but am not 100% sold on it.

I think it is overkill big time for me.

Overkill how? How are you using it?

I use it so that I don't have to worry so muh about white balance, plus it lets me shoot on the dark side and adjust exposure and color balances later. Powerful tool, but maybe it is more than your average consumer needs, I don't know. For me it lets me shoot on the conservative side and push my photos in post. It's a lot more difficult (and often impossible) to correct over-exposure than under-exposure.

EDIT - Adding a photo so I'm actually contributing to the thread. :)
