You carry three towels in your YJ...

One: For wiping your hands off after checking where that 'leak' is coming from.

Two: Wiping the interior down (windshield, seats, etc) after it rains because you only drive with a bikini top, tonneau cover, and no doors all summer. Also used after driving down the highway with rain blowing in from the back of the Jeep.

Three: A large beach towel serves as a blanket for the female passengers if they're cold riding in a door-less and window-less Jeep! :2thumbsup:

when there is a tailgater behind you 24\7.

some one is riding with you for the first words from their mouth is either: "is this safe?" or "how do I get in?" because you are top and doorless
Ha so true everyone who has ridden in it is scared becasue they can see the road and they think they will fall out.

everyone will bend over backwards to use their car to go places.

you tell people at weddings, etc. that your wife/girl won't let you drive to social functions.

them "don't you need the windshield up?"
me "what? why? do motorcycles have windshields?"

You have to stop to talk to the cell phone, because 1. you cannot talk while you shift and 2. you cannot hear anything because of the noise
QUOTE]

and 3. you can't answer calls because you can't hear the phone ring OR feel it vibrate!

When you plan several days in advance for the perfect day to enjoy driving with the doors off in New England in January, all the while waiting for the nice days to come wondering if you'll see any other doorless Jeeps only to be disappointed on said nice days when you are the only doorless Jeep out of 47 passed (counted, I was sorely disappointed seeing as 19 were YJs).
+2 I was out there though :D Sturbridge area

you have two diffrent seats
Getting mud everywhere in side and out of the jeep with the top off is no problem because you can hose it all down
And it will be there for a while as a "remembrance"

you know every factory hole in your chasis and body where you can hang a light...and where it will shine...for whatever repair or mod your're doing this week.

After you take off your factory track and sway... you look for more flex but only find more ways to spend money.

You park on the front steps to scare the neighbors "because you can!"

...the first thing you look for on the freeway is a semi or some thing else slow to follow.

...the guy at the stealership says "I remember when I had a REAL jeep..."
*true story*

... you have a hard time trying to explain your rig to an insurance company.
*also from experience*

Awesome Thread....I miss my YJ

Here's some of mine"
...You buy a TJ then a week later, want your YJ back

...You regret buying a TJ because you dont want to wreck the 'pretty' interior by leaving the top/doors off when its pouring rain
1) so true, especially missed seeing Big-N-Broke's in person and wheeling:drool: i just want them both tj dd, yj trail rig!
2)i wouldn't say regret buying it, but feel bad about leaving them off
