I hate to say it because this is a nice board and all, but you might get more of a reply if you were to post it on the board at Quadratec ( http://www.quadratec.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum&f=23 ). I have hooked up with some guys from Chesapeake to Md., N.C., and WVa by going there. Give it time and this board will get as much traffic.

I'm not a Jeep owner yet, but will be soon. Your best bet in and around central Virginia, is to head up into George Washington National Forest. Shoe Creek (south of Charlottesville) is a fun trail and can be ran with a stock vehicle. Second Mountain, Kephart, Flagpole, and Dry River are four trails in GWNF west of Harrisonburg that can also be ran in a stock vehicle. I did Second Mountain this past weekend with a stock Tacoma (31s) and a Jeep could have easily traversed the same trail. The only issue with GWNF west of Harrisonburg is the river crossing at Dry River and the mud there as well. Other than that, it's just rocky, muddy, shallow stream crossings, and fun climbs/descents. Dictum Ridge is another trail in GWNF, but that trail requires a modified vehicle (skids/sliders/lift and some straps).

#116 for the wheel in! Loved camp jeep last year but only ran the two lower trails O and Q. Had many stock libertys and stuff on them. Can't wait to strech out my CJ on a little bit harder trails and see how far she will go. Totally stoked! Hope to see some of you there. If anyone is coming down from Charlottesville shoot me a PM. Maybe wagon train down early Friday am.

:cheers2:
