Post your pic's of the worst you have been stuck in your Grand Cherokee and a short explanation of the situation. PLEASE KEEP THIS TO PIC'S ONLY we don't need the entire thread filled up with chatter.
Goodyear wrangler silent armors (245/65/17). They actually did really well in mud for an AT. I think its the stock height that hurts me more than anything. Almost every deep mud pit I went through left a skid plate signature.
Ah. At least they weren't the typical all season soccer mom tires.
Yeah, that's pretty deep for stock height, and you improved the ruts on your first pass. How did you eventually get it out? Did the wrangler give you a tug?
Yeap, that TJ was saving my friends and I all day. He pulled me out, then one of the guys I was with figured he would show me up with his CJ5, and promptly got stuck in my holes. So, the TJ pulled him out. Then another in our group in a CJ7 figured he would show us both up, but he ended up sliding off the trail and getting stuck before he could make it to that mudpit. So, the TJ figured he would go back through the mudpit the opposite way we had been trying to make it through to recover him on the other side, and promptly got stuck as well. He winched himself through the hole and rescued the CJ7. Very fun day of wheeling!
Here's a few of my stuck today.
Went though the opposite way with no problems. I turned around to make another pass and.......... Broke another axle. (three in the last year):brickwall http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=6408945
Plan on swapping in a different front axle assembly(w/locker) VERY soon.
those are funny pics and I'm just sick that that guy put that 5.9 limited in the mud like that -- that was a beautiful Jeep man -- i could just never put mine thru that..
