Does anyone know if I could put some sort of tow points (hooks) or the front and rear bumpers (both stock) of my TJ. If so maybe a picture of what I need. Thanks
It is just to the side of the fog lights. You'll see 2 black torx heads.rob1525 said:Just curious where they bolt on at. Is it the frame where the bumper is attached? If so do I need longer bolts to go along with them?
Not entirely true, you can always pick up a factory rear tow hook. And bolt it right in.1BadJeepX06 said:You have to fabricate a factory tow-point in the rear if you do not have a tow-package... There are a few options you have available to you.. Some guys on here have pics..

Check out how to install rear tow hooks at http://www.stu-offroad.com/guards/gas/tj_hooks.htm and make sure NOT to drill through both sides of the frame. The nut and bolt go inside the frame via an opening on the bottom of the frame. Through-bolting through both sides of the frame would start collapsing the frame at that point.1BadJeepX06 said:You have to fabricate a factory tow-point in the rear if you do not have a tow-package... Are you sure about that? Nevertheless, a pair of 10,500 lb. (stronger than the factory hook) capacity tow hooks can be found nearly anywhere for $15 or less. See my post and link a few posts above this one.aszalan said:The factory rear took hook (part no. 82204120) costs at least $100.
