Heim Joint Steering

I'm sort of in a bind with my steering ATM. I've got my eye on a 3/4" heim steering kit from RuffStuff.com
My question is steering geometry. I see a bunch of guys having to relocate their trackbar mount to keep with the same degree as the drag link. I'd like to know if I could just snag the kit and just do my drag link and tie rod and be okay with my upgraded adjustable track bar?

You'd be fine. You'll notice some bump steer but your jeep will not be unsafe to drive. The tie rod will interfere with the trackbar bracket a tiny bit though

Im in the same predicament. I was just going to run the tie rod UTK and drag link OTK, but mount it to the top of the pitman arm rather than below it. Angles will be near identical to factory.

I run it the way vegas shows.

I drive inbetween a gentle crawler to a full blown rock bouncer.
My total carnage from that total is
1 HPD30
1 ZJ steering setup
1 Xj steering setup
2 AW4s.
2 flex plates.
Motor mounts
Trans mounts.
1 set of stock uppers.
1 set of lower control arm bushings.

This setup has been the best that I have ever ran, it will do 100 down the highway (with a major tail wind)

Totally worth it man.

Is that just a regular heim kit? All I was able to see in your pic was your drag link otk and tie rod utk and was your drag on top the pitman or under? Also what kit are you running. I'm kinda sketching out on joint quality if I get this on kit from Ruffstuff. Comes with 54" of DOM and 4 heim joints.

Stock knuckles still right? No high steer? N how well are your joints doing? I don't want to be replacing joints frequently.
Also did you have to bore out the knuckles to quite a bit? I don't want to bore out the knuckle to an unsafe diameter.
Bronco Dana 44.....
I drilled the pitman and it went fine. No high steer. I don't have from lol!

HAHA JK Luke, I plan on going with the 3/4" kit soon also.. but i dont have stock knuckles. I know lots of people running the 3/4" kit and they have no problems.

just so you know heims arent legal in steering in most state FYI...

i dont understand running the heim above the pitman. youre only limiting the travel of your suspension and causing binding at the pitman arm and the knuckle.
