Radio shortage caused electrical problems

The previous owner put in a Sony stereo and it no longer works. My friend gave me his 2000 stock stereo. The previous owner of my friend's xj had some weird wiring. As I was putting it in my jeep, a stray yellow battery wire from the stereo feeder harness wasn't cut properly and had bare wire showing which touched the metal of the stereo, sparked, and died while the keys were in and I was listening to the radio.

Now the stock stereo that I was putting in doesn't work. Only the power unlock door switch works and not the power lock when the keys are removed. However, if I put the keys in and turn the electrics on, then both the power locks and unlocks will work. Also my dome lights in front and in trunk do not work. I checked the fuses and they look fine to me.

Is the stock stereo toast or can I fix it?
How do I get my power locks to work again when the keys are removed?
How do I get my dome lights to work again?

Thanks for any help that I can get.

Sorry it took me a whole week to post this but here is what happened.

Not only were my dome lights and power locks messed up, but the whole dash was not working. No speedo, rpm, odometer, oil, gas, temp, etc. The fuse that controls all of this was blown and is located in the engine bay fuse box. It is the blue 15 amp circled in the picture attached.
