I just got my hands on a 96 Cherokee sport 4.0, It has a new(ish) 4" long arm kit & 2" spacers and can be a nice trail rig however I love my 01 Sahara (and her D44) I was curious if any of the suspension can become donor parts for my TJ?

TJs and XJs have similar front end suspension and steering. Rear is completely different. Even if you can make the long arms fit and can figure out how much lift you'll get out of it figuring out what to pair with it in the rear seems like a bit of hassle. If you don't want to keep the XJ intact, probably better to just part it out as a whole "kit" and buy something for the TJ.
If your parting it lots of the engine stuff will fit, and the XJ has a high pinion dana 30 that gives you about 3 more inches for the front drive shaft over the TJ
Thank you biffgnar, I probably part it out & just buy a kit for the TJ its that damn itch of Hmmm..... I took this off now I want to use it hence my garage full of wayward parts lol. I was thinking of using the the front suspension (not that Im a fan of skyjacker) and upping my rear springs with a pair of hand me down rubicon springs and a 2" spacer should pit me about level. Just not sure of the fitment of the control arms, shocks tie rod or track bar.
I wouldn't waste the time & money to put brackets on an 8.25, may be stronger but not worth the hassle over puting that same effort into a disc-braked beefier axle (aka explorer 8.8).
There are disc brake equipped 29 spline 8.25 axles out there, and if one fell in your lap for free it might be worth using. However if I was purchasing an axle, the 8.25 wouldn't even be on my radar.

Depending on the brand of the kit the arms might be worth cutting down and using on the front of your TJ. Heck it would probably still save you money to cut the arms down and put decent joints in them even if they are skyjacker or something.
The only thing I know about them, which seems common to many other control arms, is people on the internet complaining of premature joint failure. The only person I know of had his skyjacker arms for quite awhile before replacing joints. I would imagine you could easily replace the flex end with a johnny joint or a duroflex end, for a lot less money then buying a complete arm....
Yeah for $1500 I had to have it I figure at worst there's that in the tires & suspension.
