OK, I stole the idea from the YJ forum but it's a great idea so let this thread be an inspiration for all of us doing mods, maintenance, or repairs to our TJ's! :D

Personally, I installed my trusty Uniden CB into my new Rubicon.

Okie doke.

Sounded to me like he was weighing a long arm kit vs. a short arm kit, and you telling him to buy the short arm kit because it is made by the stickers on the winning car, which runs the long arm kit. Lol...rofl.
Hmm.... I see where you could get that. Not my intention though! I'm not exactly what you would call a fanboy. Just weighing in on my opinion.

Lol. there is no doubt to me that Currectlync is the only way to go, and I love my savvy/currie arms.

I would like to see John Currie drive a IFS with stick shift in the EMC. He'd probably still win...and this forum would self destruct. :D lol

Replaced the ball joints, axle u-joints and steering stabilizer. Hard to imagine the factory original parts were starting to wear out sitting on 35's at 181,000 miles! Went with Spicer replacements on the joints so it should be good for another couple of hundred thousand miles, right? The drivers side was so rusted and seized in for some reason it took four and a half hours to replace the parts. The old ball joints were completely destroyed by the time they came out. The passenger side only took an hour and fifteen minutes from start to finish, whew!

Took both of my full doors apart to repair and lube the lock mechanisms, not that I ever lock it. And installed a new pitman arm, steering is sooo much tighter. No more white knuckle drives over windy bridges!

Replaced both UCA's....although it didn't completely fix the DW but it did allow me to go faster than 60.

On to the next component it could be.....
Have you done a try steer test? That way you have an idea instead of just replacing things randomly.
^^This^^
