I ordered a 2014 GC Limited 4 weeks ago. (V6, ORA2) The Jeep website still shows the status as "Production Scheduled". Anyone get a GC ordered and delivered recently that can share how long it took to get built and delivered?
The Colorado winter is coming and I need my new Jeep!
I just placed an order yesterday (though it won't get truly placed until Monday) and two dealers were reporting 4-6 week delivery times and ~10 day build times. In other words, I would suspect in the next 4 days it should start getting built. Then again that may just be wishful thinking on my end.
Ordered Aug 29..Delivered Oct 8.
Mine sat in Production Scheduled for about 4 weeks. Once Status goes into Build mode it'll be through all the steps in less than a week. Will be in shipment status maybe another week after that.
Actual build takes less than one day. Here's my tracking: Date ordered: 02/23/2013 Current Status:KZ D1 status date: 03/28/2013 Estimated delivery: 04/18/2013 Built - Pending Inspection:(I) 04/06/2013 09:53 PM EDT Detroit Jefferson Assembly, MI

Delivered to dealer 04/13/2013
Ordered mine 9/26, currently in Shipment status. Per my dealer it will be delivered 11/4
Production Scheduled took about 10 days. Actual build was pretty fast and missed it all next update was Final Inspection that took about a week and then shipment for about a week now too. So, if delivered as scheduled should be 5 1/2 - 6 weeks.
We put in our order on 10/19, got confirmation of the order 10/23, and notice that it was scheduled for production 10/24. The dealer said allow 6-8 weeks, but that they were usually coming in six. Ours is a V6 Overland, Maximum Steel with Brown/light frost. It should be a great Xmas present.
WOW, on Monday mine went from Production Scheduled to Paint, then on Tuesday morning it is already on Shipment. I hope they had time for the Final Inspection...
None, unless 5.5% below invoice is not a really good deal for you. This is an delivery time thread, price questions may get a better response in the "what did you pay" thread.
Mine was ordered on 10/24, and it's scheduled for production on 11/16. Not sure what kind of downtime they have around Thanksgiving. I'm guessing I'll see it early December.
Hmm, 11/16 is a Saturday. Seems odd to me. Mine was ordered the 10/23 and went to "Production Scheduled" on 10/24. How did you get the scheduled production date? I don't see that on the VOTS site.
Well, there is no more question of when our Overland is being built. It is today! I got the notification from VOTS this morning and it is showing to be in trim right now.
Now I have to get the old Jimmy sold and the garage cleaned up a bit.
I notice some of you have specific dates for production scheduled, but when I go to the site I just see production scheduled but no date. Is having a date show up an intermediate step?
Sorry, I don't have an answer, just a question: How long after you placed the order did you receive the vin or von? It's been just over two weeks for me and still no numbers.:dunno:
Ordered Jan 7th. Arrived at dealer Feb 6th and delivered the 8th.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
