Hello,

I am in the market for a 2014 GC, most likely I will be going with the Overland since I have to have those new lights :p I have my financing secured and just need to find the car now. Since this model is just out this month, its hard finding comparable figures. I wanted to start this thread to help future owners out in obtaining the best price and locating a dealer that is wiling to deal. please post up what you are quoted so we can find the best dealers from around the country. I should be able to post my first quotes up this afternoon.

thanks all for your help, together we can save future owners a few bucks on their next new Jeep.

I bought my Jeep on a rebound. I ordered a 2014 Ford Explorer from MCcafferty Ford in Langhorne pa. After waiting 8 weeks for the truck & calling every few days after the 6th week & being told it was "In transit", I finally went to the dealership. My salesman met me at the door & told me that they were really sorry, but the truck had come in the day before, & as it came off the carrier another salesman sold it to a customer who was admiring it. He said that they would "try" to find me another truck. He had nothing to say when I asked if the other salesman nor the manager noticed the words "Special Order" on the sticker. I got my mandatory $500 deposit check back, went right across the street to Reedman-Toll Chrysler/Jeep & drove out with my 2014 JGC Limited in dark cherry. Msrp-$40,875, I got it for $38,783. With all the electric gizmos on it, I got the extended warranty for another$1568. So altogether the OTD price with tax/tags & ext warranty was $42992.06 Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I also got 4 years of free oil & filter changes that I can get whenever I want. I don`t have to adhere to only when the manual states to get it changed, so I`m going to get the first one at 1,000mi. Another thing they did was to activate the nav on my Uconnect for free instead of the $599 normal charge. So all in all, I don`t think I got a bad deal, & others have told me that the GC is a better vehicle than the Explorer. We`ll see.

Hi all, I'm new to the site. My wife and I live in the DFW area, and are looking for a 2014 Grand Cherokee Limited 4x2 (3.6 V6). Does anyone have any recommendations on the best dealerships to talk to, or share pricing on what they've been able to pick one up for? We can get Friends and Family discount, but still trying to figure out how much it can help and if it matters where you buy from. Thanks!

I made a thread about this, but I'm going to post here as well hoping another member might see it and help us out...

Hello everyone,

We just lost our infiniti G37 in a horrible flash flood that took many many cars in my city couple days ago Car has been written off as a total loss by the insurance company, so we're back in the market looking for a car. We had just bought this car about 3-4 weeks ago. Very sad

Now that we're back in the market, wife wants something else (go figure LOL) We have looked at the new Infinity Q50 and it looks like we can get a very good lease deal from this car. With $2500 loyalty cash, and about a $3,700 below MSRP deal with the business associate employee discount, car becomes very affordable for a lease. They also have something called MSD (Multiple security deposits) which allow you to put down up to 9 months of security deposits and each one lowers the apr about .24

However, we test drove a Grand Cherokee Limited and we both really enjoyed the car. What a sweet machine.

I wanted to know what kind of deals I could get to make this car a reality for us.

We would need 15,000 miles @ 36 months and payments can't be higher than 450 tops. We're looking at no down payment, but if we have to, maybe put down 1,000 (like first month and fees). This was an unseen event, and we don't have 4,000 to put down for a car right now out of savings. I wouldn't consider tapping into our emergency fund for a car. We want a limited 4x2 3.6l V6 (the overland would be even nicer as I love the headlights and the seats. Wife actually prefers the limited's front, but overland's seats lol)

I've been looking at the thread for purchasing this car, and I see some people have gotten anywhere from 1% to 5% below invoice for this car. I guess it's possible....

Help me make this car a reality please.

I'm in south florida if anyone knows a good dealer to work with. I can go anywhere from pt st lucie to miami for the right deal.

Suggested Dealers in Queens/ Western Long Island Area

Determined to get back into a GC after a few years with other SUV's. Had a terrible experience with a Queens Dealer in the past. Suggestions on best price and best overall dealership.

Also, I've seem sone Laredo's in dealer showrooms with Navigation installed. I am assuming this is dealer installed and activated. Any issues associated with this as opposed to just moving up to the Limited? . Also, is the Luxury II package not popular on the Limited. Seems like all the vehicles on the lots are just either basic Limited's with the quick order package or fully decked out.

Keep looking. In my search I found a good number of Limiteds with Lux II. I ended up getting one with Lux II, Tow, Nav and 20" wheels / tires. I had to go 30 miles for it but made a road trip out of it and got a great deal.

Looking at getting a basic Limited w/ Diesel and Nav - MSRP $47090
Plan on leasing it for the wife 15k/36m best deal so far is $465/month with $1247 due ($400 for mopar sidesteps installed)

Seem like a good deal?

We're also trading 2012 Camry in, but I got this pricing before mentioning the trade, seems everyone wanted to "just" pay it off, either right below or right above pay off cost - might just sell it back to the dealer we purchased it from as I imagine we'd get more money for it at a Toyota dealer.

What is the lease factor and residual % used in the lease calculation? I shopped in SE MI recently and was got a lease factor of .00013 and a .46 residual through Chrysler Capital on a Summit diesel for a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles/year.

The 2014 JGC works with the UConnect app. It will remotely start your car from anywhere, along with remotely lock/unlock/honk horn & flash lights. Takes about 2 minutes after you input the command for the Jeep to start. In addition, it is one way - meaning that there is no feedback to actually tell you if your car started. It is a free app, and on an Overland it is free for a year, then you have to pay monthly for this service.
Also, I can still get anyone in here 5.5% below invoice if you are interested.

Mine emails me when my truck starts.

Lots of folks here have used it, will work on any vehicle at a participating dealer (I don't know of a dealer that doesn't participate) . You just need the affiliate code.

Just ordered ours and I found that the Truecar price was way better than using the Treadlightly discount.

#353 ·
I didn't realize you could use Truecar and still order exactly what you want, thought you were stuck with with whatever is on the lot.

My wants are pretty simple: Limited, 4wd, Diesel/Luxury package, tow package. that's it. trying to decide on which color though. Think I'm torn between the steel metallic and the black forest green.

There are two group buys going on one in DC and the other in Houston.
Pretty good deals, the Houston deal you need the affiliate Tread Lightly program at the 100 buck level to get the 5.5% off invoice.
Seems like south Ca and Atlanta dealers are much more willing to negotiate than others...

You guys are lucky in the USA.

I have been shopping for a GC here in Vancouver Canada. Nearly every shop has a 4,000 markup over MRSP. The one dealership I was talkin to thought they were giving me a deal saving me $3000, which was still $1000 over MRSP.

The base Laredo starts at 40,000! All Canadian models are $9,000 more than in the USA. We also don't have the options you guys down south get.

I'm negotiating a 2014 GC Limited with 23H (power sunroof & nav) with an MSRP of $41,080 and a discounted price of $37,891 + TTL from a dealer in the Chicago area. I think that's about 3.5% below invoice ($39,284). Window sticker here: http://www.chrysler.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=1C4RJFBG7EC356582.

Started with the Costco program, which most dealers don't seen to like. Ended up with the affiliate 1% under + additional concessions.

Any feedback on price would be greatly appreciated. :)

Just leased a 2014 Limited 4x4 today with Lux II, 20" wheels and nav for 36 months 10k/year. $2,499 due at signing and $413 a month including all fees and taxes. Think I did pretty well but am really excited about my first jeep in about 10 years regardless of the deal!

Hey guys

New to this site and in need of some help. Looking to get out of my 2006 Lexus IS 250 and trade it in to LEASE a Overland with no added features ($47,190) MSRP. trade in will be used to pay lease up front

Only been to one dealer, here is the breakdown

INVOICE= $43,600
TRADE-IN= $9500, owe $1500, so Net is=$8000
REBATES=$6000

FEES=$385
TAX= $1400 (ESTIMATE)

LEASE= $306 FOR 36 MONTHS, 7500 MILES/YEAR
PURCHASE OPTION AT END OF LEASE= $24,566

Does this sound like a good deal. I feel like it should be way less since Im putting down a decent amount. Should I pull the trigger or see if anyone else will give me more for my trade, or take more off the invoice. Ive seen some people in here get down as low as $42,000 for the overland.

THanks guys
Lewis

I don't envy Americans often, but wow you guys can get a GC for so much cheaper than us in Canada.

Currently BASE BASE BASE Larado's are going for 42-44,000. This is a 3-5000 markup OVER MRSP.

I was talking to a dealership saying I wanted to pay less than MRSP and they told me there was no way they would make that deal.
