Based on model of jeep and type of bumpers... you cant lift from the edges of a jk on the bumper. You look underneath and you have to lift from the metal framing of the bumper. After the first time just testing It... you have a groove from the teath to help the next time. DONT FORGET to block the front or rear tires.... opposite end of flat repair. And the off road foot brace is a great addition
Mounted to my JCR bumper/tire carrier. Very secure and I just repainted the jack to be a little more weather worthy. Just remember if you keep it outside you are going to have rust.
I had this one custom done, pretty happy with it, but you have to be mindful of the additional weight when you swing the tailgate open, I broke two check straps before I decided to add a limiting cord. I do have a built in quick disco, so you can take it off, if you are not on the trail.
