Here as the jersey shore... we have accumlated about 2 feet of snow.. maybe oly 20 inches.. but with huge snow drifts. When I woke up and found out that my dad didn't steal my jeep to get to work.. I had to be the first one out on the unplowed streets... my stock jeep with 25k miles on the stock tires amazed some of the neighbors that were out plowing their driveway... I was able to get out of my untouched driveway with little trouble and cirlcle the neighborhood. My goal was to drive up and down the driveway so I didn't have to shovel so much.. but on the way back up I did get stuck:( For the first time I had to dig myself out. Regardless.. the neighbors were still impressed that I even was able to move the jeep at all... they underestimate its powers. hehe..

I was disappointed when I entered back into the house and my Mom asked where I had been for so long... I thought she would have had to of heard the racket of all 4 wheels spinning and engine howling.. but she said no.. that was dissapointing.. need to make myself louder and more obnoxious.

*Disclaimer... you notice I live with the parents.. I am 20 and attend a local university

even though snow can be a pain in the arse (shoveling a big long driveway when you know your car doesn't need it) it is still fun to get out and have some good CLEAN fun... snow flying off all 4 wheels... I much prefer it to mudding, for obvious reasons.

ehh.. even though it is gettin kinda late.. maybe I should take FULL advantage of the snow.. I am gonna go do some sled towin, or whatever you call it (gonna tie some rope to my hitch and whip some friends around that are on some sleds... should be fun:D )

Here on the south shore of L.I., NY, we're looking at somewhere around 2-3', with drifts up to 4'.

My backyard. The BBQ has been almost buried, and the arms of the chair are almost still visible:

My side yard. Notice the table? And the falling fence from te weight of the drifts? Luckily, there is one on the other side too holding it up :p

Here's a pic of my driveway. We've been snowblowing it all day. It has about 4" on it there:

My XJ was able to pull right out in 4 wheel part time. My sis's Blazer was stuck and she was pretty much all dug out. The diver;s side of mine was one big snow drift up to the tops of the tires.

I'm in Winchester, VA and our "official" total was 30". It's pretty crazy. The ol' XJ is having no problems in it though. The snow does make me want a locker extremely bad though!

Darn it, we haven't even had a 2 foot storm Upper Michigan this year yet! We've had a lot, but it's practically all been lake-effect.

I don't like this El Nino thing. At least that's what I heard is causing everything to go below us. Can anyone confirm this?

No way! I live about 8 min. from the airport - we're almost neighbors:) . Here are pics I took Monday before I finally got a shovel to get myself out (well, at least take off the first foot of snow off the top of the mound-LOL!).
I'm standing on top of the snow mound in this pic!

The snow mound to the left of my jeep is my car!
