I recently found a baseball hat at Lowes when i was returning some torx bits i broke.

The light has LED lights in the brim so where ever you look you have light. Its a silly things but for 16 bucks its been worth it every time i have had to go under my jeep. Its a good hat on top of having built in useful lights :D

Angle grinder. Removes fuel lines, removes rust, excess metal, reshapes metal, gets rid of unnecessary wiring harnesses, removes bolts, and more! It can even make an entire Jeep disappear.

Disclaimer: Six fires so far.

When on the trail, another Jeeper with the ONE (insert tool or spare part) I forgot to bring.

At home, a welder. It opens a whole world of new horizon's for you.

I have to agree, not as young as I used to be!

The beforementioned Ratchet box wrenches are pretty nice. I've had both sae and metric for years and find them a lifesaver when you can't get a full ratchet in. Still doesn't replace my ratchet, as sometimes you need that depth to turn!

A "blue tip wrench", AKA cutting torch. Open holes, apply heat to break things loose, bend things, bend things back, it is the go to tool for me. There is nothing better to change universals in axle/driveshafts. Just cut the suckers in half. Remember to remove the zerks first or you might get a jet of hot grease in the face though.

I have a bamboo stick (About 3 feet long) that I stick in my cup holder to push up on my safari top when I know its going to rain. Instead of coming out to a lake I come up to a tent like dry top :2thumbsup:

I am currently without my air compressor and associated tools. Also the heavy duty floor jack. I have already rotated the tires once with a breaker bar and Hi-lift on the rockers. I see some rust covered bolts that I may need to remove in the near future...

Air compressor and pneumatic tools have to be the best tool for working on the Jeep if'n just 'cause I don't have 'em.
