Lift Measurements

I was thinking about stacking a Rusty's half inch strut spacer on top my RC 2.25 BB. I don't think it will be an issue but I was hoping to get some comparison measurements (specifically OME) to see where I stand after adding those load levelers in the rear.

Then I was thinking it would be useful to have some real world ride height measurements of the various lifts.

So if you know your measurements, or feel like going outside with a ruler, please post.

List the lift you have and if you have any heavy gear- skids/bumpers/etc.

Feel free to add your numbers even if someone with the same lift has posted. I'm curious to see how much, if any, variation there is between rigs.

Also if a few people who are stock could post their numbers as a baseline that would be nice.

Measurements are from the fender to the center of the hub.

Thanks guys.:cheers2:

I have a daystar with a 4.7L v8. I have 20.75 and 21 in the rear. So I think you'll get more with an OME for sure

Since my stock ride height is 18 1/4" front and 20 1/4" rear, maybe when I get the OME lift I should opt for HD in the front (engine weight and potential sag) and MD in the rear. I would prefer to have equal height and wear. Any thoughts?

I've heard negative remarks about mixing the HD and MD. I would stick with one or the other, if you plan on adding armor or a winch, any weight at that I'd go HD, or go Bilstein 5100 strut up front because its adjustable from .75-2"

OK, I'm on Information Overload after 3 days of searching these threads,

cant decide to go with the rusty's spacer up front or not

I've got an 08 WK with the 3.7 no armor

daystar lift now and it sits at about 20 1/2" in front and 20" in the rear (to keep this post on subject)

Ive ordered the OME HD set up with OME shocks and struts and if I use a rustys spacer up front will that put me over the 23" mark or under?

I dont want to have to take it apart again to either add it or remove it,

You will be over...I have OME HD plus 3/8" spacer up front and the hemi and just now after 3 months mine has settled down to 23".

That's how the RC lift is. before I installed mine i welded some 1/2 square stock on the rear spacer (that I bent roughly in a circle) and used a longer bolt. Helped a little, but still sits lower in the rear. My measurements are roughly 21.75 in the front and 21 in the rear. That's with bilstein 4600s front and rear

Alot of guys get the MLL's to bring the rear up but I didn't want to do that. I then started thinking of getting OME springs for the rear to bring it up. I should have just gone with the OME setup with bilsteins to keep it cheaper. I read everyone saying to do that but I still went with the cheapest way I could.

22 Front and 21.5 in rear w/OME HD lift. I have full Matrix in front and 1/4 tank of gas. This lift is a month old.

qty-3 OEM Skid plates, rock rails, roof rack, belly guard and matrix bumper almost a year later with 10k more miles and some wheeling... Now sitting 21" all around ...

Update 120,000 miles
21.5 upfront 2inch RC lift
22.5 in rear 2inch RC lift with MLL (F150) 3700 miles and towing daily with the MLL.

Going to go with ome HD with 2 spacers upfront and OME HD in rear with the MLL and a inch spacer. Going for 23 even front and back.
