for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

Anyone know what kind of lights I can swap in? Starting on a custom chopped up front end. I Néed options...
Are you wanting to keep the hi/low function or do you just want lights? You could just put some kc lights or led cubes in there if not.

With some fab you should be able to adapt almost any oem housing, but depending on what you use it could look very strange. You could use the opportunity to mount some hid projectors also.

If you want to still daily it youre kind of stuck with DOT lighting, or at least DOT looking lights since FL mostly doesnt care, but some cop on a fishing expidition will.

I don't are about the hi-low function really ill get some small fogs for that but I want it to be legal or at least borderline. Should I just find what works and splice it in to the original harness?

These are made custom by a retired Coastie and they sponsor my Jeep club, you should buy lights from him. He is going to start making square ones too for XJ and YJ's.

Are they plug and play? What kind of light output do they put off Im interested.
They're mostly plug and play, the LED need wiring. I have only seen one set in person but they're quality looking. This is the only pic I have of them installed but he has more on his website. Once he rolls out the square lights my XJ is getting them for sure!

so long as the wattage is equal or less than the stock headlamps you'd be fine with splicing into the stock harness, but i'd still recommend upgrading the harness to the putco or similar aftermarket one.

Just find what works physically, the electrical side can be made to work with just about any light combo.

also don't just limit yourself to automotive lamps, there are a lot of nice light in the motorcycle world as well.

True, I just wanted to know if it would be kinda ricey. I'm on the fence so I'll probably wait. But I wanted some input.
OK . If it were me , I'd have the decal done with the 'given' name . Anything else , like "adventurer" , seems too commercial .

After all , you're trying to personify the machine , right ?

Put a scratch on my bumper today, stupid neighbor left their garbage cans that are lower than the hood of the jeep right in front of the jeep's normal parking spot on the street. Was really not expecting that crushing sound.
I am sorry but I had to laugh.
The only worthy "crushing sounds" that should come from your Jeep are either the rocks being destroyed by the awesomeness of it or the oil and tranny pans being destroyed by the awesomeness of the rocks !, lolol.
