Guess you did the cheat or remove the whole dash? How many hours did it take?
I did the cheat method. If i had taken the whole dash out I would of had so many screws left over. All in all it took me about 5 hours but I was working with limited tools (most of my tools are at my parents house because I recently moved into an apartment). If i was to do it again it with the right tools it would only take an hour and a half with proper tools.

FINALLY had a day where I could drop my rig off to get everything put together. kind of sounds like I'm glad I didn't attempt to do the install myself. I dropped it off about 8am and they finished up working on it around 5pm.

I know it looks pretty silly with the tires I have on there now. For whatever reason I've had the hardest time deciding on wheels/tires. I really really like the way duratracs look, so one option is duratracs on the wheels I currently have. The other option is (255/70R18):

The thing I like about those wheels is that you really don't see them on too many WK's. Bad thing is they are 18's, so fewer/more expensive tire options.

what do you guys think?

Ok cool. I work at a boat repair shop so I'll have all the tools I'll need with me. How hard was it to get to the other side(drivers side) of the heater core?
No need to access the drivers side. Once you remove the black plastic shroud that covers the heater core the only thing holding it in are the supply and discharge lines. Remove the one screw that attaches them to the heater core ( i didn't drain the coolant out but used a good trash bag to catch the little that was in the lines and core itself about 2-3 cups) and then the core just slides out. The hardest part was drilling the holes in the spot welds on the frame.

Got it back from the stealership. Originally went to have an oil change but last weekend it overheated a little bit. Went over to pep boys to have them do a quick check and their comments were "we're gonna have to do an engine tear down". Yeah.. no thanks. Turned out to be a thermostat. Around $220 with military discount.

I purchased a 2005 WK Limited Hemi today. Looking forward to it. I've been reading this forum for a few weeks now deciding on whether to get one or not. I shall be updating with mods shortly. Looking forward to being part of the community!
Enjoy!

Thermostat is an easy swap. Could have saved yourself $200 by DIY

Yeah i was going to but i wanted it to be their mistake if something goes wrong. I easily could have done it, but with pep boys saying they recommend (which i disregarded most of the stuff they were saying since they said it might be due to me keeping it in 4wd -- i dont really have an option) tearing the engine down, i was a little worried i might think i solved something but it was actually internal.

Took my Matrix and front guard off as the powder coating was falling off Wood Motor vehicle Tool Font Automotive exterior
I had a local company sandblast it, then they gave it a hot zinc undercoat before a satin black powdercoat. Used lots of grease on all the new bolts then painted over them to try to keep ahead of any rust. Font Gas Automotive tire Auto part Brick

He still gets severe migraines, but thankfully they're fairly infrequent. he's 11 now. Just takes his blanket and pillow in and lays on the bathroom floor next to the toilet. We took a lot of things out of his diet and that has seemed to help dramatically. No red dyes.. No aspartame.. and worked on keeping him hydrated. We're down to 3-4 a year now instead of 1-2 a month.

Back on Topic:
Swapped out my busted fogs with new oem cans, and inserted 45w amber bulbs .. got to test them in the fog we had overnight.

Monday the SuperLift I've had sitting in storage for 10 months(talk about Frustrating) is finally scheduled to be installed.. :2thumbsup:
