This thread is to serve as an inspiration to others modifying their ZJ's. Pretty simple, just post what you did to your ZJ today!

Today I shamefully took my Jeep to get the oil changed because it was to hot to change it myself.

Hope none of those crumbly bits fell down into the tank!
Haha yeah I know.

I bent the hoses down right away and shook out any crumblies that I could which wasnt many at all.

I drove the gas level down pretty low because I knew I would be dropping the tank, there is less than 1/16th tank of gas in it according to fuel gauge so I might end up emptying out the tank and cleaning it out then refilling with a couple gallons of new gas to get to a gas station and fill up once everything is done.

Depends how dirty it is in there when I pull the pump out and take a look inside the tank.

Started my motor mount replacement tonight. Took a couple hours to get the old ones out, like the control arm bushings I recently replaced, these thing were beyond toast. The centers fell out of them when I dropped the mounts out of the engine bay. Now I just need to cut the metal casings out of them and press in the new urethane centers.

I stopped by a small local off road shop today to get my atv permit. I asked them about somewhere to fab rock sliders locally, and they said they make them. They showed me a couple sets on their personal rigs and some pics of customer rides. So next Thursday I'm getting sliders fabbed, painted, and installed for $275. I showed them the jcr stage 2 sliders and he said they'll be making them like that. I'm also getting some synergy lower control arm sliders welded on for $50.

Was driving home tonight and when I turned onto my street I heard a loud popping sound and had almost no steering. I'm the second house on the street so I got her to her spot and when I took a look I noticed the track bar snapped on the threaded part of the bushing end. Glad it happened when I was doing less than 5 mph, I don't wanna know what would have happened if it snapped just a few minutes earlier while I was doing 65 on the highway.

A bottle of beer has never solved any problems... Then again, neither has a glass of milk.
Bologna......one time I needed a way to shot fireworks stright up in the air...lol
You should look more into the history of beer. Beer has actually solved a LOT of problems.
^^^^this. There a great film on netflix. "how beer saved the world"

That's exactly what I said when I saw it lol. I'm not real sure what could cause that thing to snap like that, its pretty beefy.

That's my plan, not sure what they're gonna say tho cuz I have an aluminium bushing in there and I'm wondering if that could be part of the cause.

Well, today I found my overhead display telling me ICE and -42 degrees lol

I think I've found the sensor right behind the front grille in front of the rad? Does anyone know what the resistance values should be so I can find a replacement?

Jeeps aren't common to find at the local breakers here in Scotland.

Mine likes to tell me ice too, funny cuz I haven't seen ice in the 10 years I've been in Florida.
