OK, I stole the idea from the YJ forum but it's a great idea so let this thread be an inspiration for all of us doing mods, maintenance, or repairs to our TJ's! :D

Personally, I installed my trusty Uniden CB into my new Rubicon.

Those are Dick Cepek's? I'd be pissed... I'm sure they're a hair more than the $50-100/each steel wheels many of us run.

Washed her up and noticed that the clear coat is coming off the replacement wheel I got last November...

That's crazy man, I'd be in contact with them for sure. Mine have held up to two and a half years of wheeling and daily driving so far and still look-aside from some scratches-brand new...

Jmo, double adjustable are just way easier to install and adjust. I half wish I had gone with them on lowers as well.

For rear especially there can be multiple times you may need to adjust, unless you blast out all possible mods and dial it to perfection all at once.

For front I am currently in the process of constant fiddling between caster and pinion, trying to get drivability sorted out.
I don't have near the patience to do this stuff. Which is why I really wish I lived close to people that do this all the time. Not your typical offroad shop.

I'd gladly give a couple cases of beer to set everything up right. Then I would finally be satisfied that I haven't screwed anything up.

I got fortunate to meet and know jeepers who have done it all before me...makes it seem a lot easier when someone else can explain it all and you can see what they've done and how they've done it. That's not to say some of it's not painstaking, but is also rewarding at the end of the day.

Yea they're Dick Cepeck dc-2's... I paid 95 each almost 2 years ago. I'm not real happy this will be the second time I've had to send a wheel back.

That's crazy man, I'd be in contact with them for sure. Mine have held up to two and a half years of wheeling and daily driving so far and still look-aside from some scratches-brand new...
I had this one replaced last year after chasing a vibration for almost a year which turned out to be an out of round wheel....
the 4 that are almost 2 years old still look new, this one has spent probably 5-6 months hanging on the back of the Jeep..?

Sunday 11:00ish dunno where.
Not Sunday or Saturday. Work Saturday, beer festival Saturday night. I desperately hope that there's some Slow Elk again, since I can't find anywhere that sells it.

And on topic: speakers are out, gotta save up for a rear main seal and oil pan gasket, and flywheel so that I can finally put in the clutch I bought six months ago.
