Ouch. This is exactly why I haven't unbolted anything except for maintenance/brakes etc. I've had the newtome frame for almost 4 years but the swap... maybe before xmas... hopefully...

You are half way through a trail and you realize you lost your wallet. Backtrack to the first obstacle only to find it laying in a puddle of water.

Stupid convenient cubby hole over in the passenger side dash. It's gotten me twice now. Someday I'll learn

The neighborhood kids ask for a ride, you get parents' buy in, make all the seatbelts work, strap them in. Drive at speed on PA's potholed/patched main roads to the playground's dirt parking lot and 'off road' there before turning around-the whole drive was 20 minutes. Back home the kids pile out laughing and shouting (cuz it was loud and the ears are still ringing) , "it was so bumpy and windy and my teeth are still rattling, but it was the BEST RIDE EVER! Can we go again?!"

Been using our YJ as my daily driver for about a week now. Had a big meeting with our company owner and our general manager today off site at a CEO meeting Club. One of those business meeting places that all the BMW and Benz drivers of the world use for CEO training and business luncheons.

I pull up to valet behind a bran new Mercedes 550. Almost every suit in the place seemed to turn and look as my dirty, Led Zeppelin blasting, yellow YJ pulls up an I climb out. Khakis and a polo shirt, laptop, an sunglasses. I proceed to explain the push button start and hidden kill switch to the valet slightly raising my voice over Black Dog as it echoed off the covered valet stab and the glass doors of the building.

As I turned to go in, I felt like Dale Jr in a Mountain Dew commercial. I open the door of the club and walk into about 11 suits. See my GM an head over. As I pass buy a guy in a very nice suit, he grabs my arm and says, "I love your jeep. Wish I still had mine." I thanked him introduced myself and it turns out he had a CJ back in the day. Now, he owns 7 Quiznos.

Luuca that is a truly awesome! I just went into a custom shop that had a COPO sitting in the window. Get inside and find a 69 Mach 1, 3 other copos, a 34 Ford,& an Allard. Out of the corner of my eye I see 2 jk 8's and I started talking to the guy. The jeeps are his bread and butter! All the cars he has but the custom jeeps get sold all across the country.....at a premium. The jeep is appreciated for what it is by everyone! That story it's awesome! You can look at the people that come through the forum. Surgeons, business owners, students, from everywhere around the world. Got to love the jeep and the original Wrangler....it's hip to be square!

Well that includes 1 year in Iraq, bookended by 7 month deployments on two different subs... I plan on having it running to the beach by spring. Who ever did the lift and 8.8 swap did it all right.

I can relate to this. It's completely accurate. Roommate's got a jk. They even have the same engine as a mini van.

Don't hate. I love my jk. But mine is so far from a minivan.

Ykydayjw you boss gives you **** because she doesn't want your jeep in her parking lot if its going to be covered in mud because its not respectable looking enough for the quick lube station you work at
I was asked to leave a place because my jeep had "too" much mud on it and they did not want to have to deal with it!
