My friend has over 4" of lift and 265/75-16(32s) and had some rub. He had to do a lot of trimming to get it to work. Then he re-geared to get his power back. I personally don't think it would be worth it.

Dang, I just checked the dates, this was really brought back from the dead huh?

And if I recall, 32" tires tend to be only a little more that 31" anyways. 33" used to be at least, a decent step up from 32". Lets see how long that lugged down transmission lasts. Tires too big for a vehicle, to the point that there is really no suspension travel allowed, and not a lot of turning radius either, looks plain stupid. Kind of like the idiots with the 24" wheels on their frontwheel drive cars cruising the hood. Real chicks will sit back and laugh. Dogs will run the other way and associate with cats rather than pee on your tires.... ok you get the point.

first of all when i had the 32s with no lift the only prob was the bumps cuz of the tires stick out passed the fenders and would come up into them i could turn and all so ur wrong take ur kj and go on ur forum not the kk forum
You said it, not us. Just our point, they aren't functional, as you can't even drive the thing down city roads without issues, let alone off roading. Perhaps us KJ guys have to come in and school the young folk with their KKs on how things are really done, not try to be posers.lol

The KK has slightly smaller wheel well openings then a KJ.Next thing you will say is you can put 35" tires on with a daystar spacer lift.

Let's see some pics of your 32" tires with no lift. There was a guy with a KK on another forum that custom made a lift kit and was at about 5" and barely could fit 33" tires,he had to go to 4.56 gears also.

Those are 33" tires on a KK and required 5" of lift.

I wonder what happened to bobblemochie,

If you're rubbing your fender flares hitting bumps, how in the world do you expect to do any flexing Offroad without ripping them off? Even with a 2" daystar lift, I wouldn't try it. Those things ride like a skateboard anyway. If you want to run 33's, be prepared for some expensive mods.

Yeah, that aluminum front diff isn't gonna last long trying to turn tires that big. Either that or the axle shaft will fail. But come on guys. Let him do what he wants. It's his Jeep and if he doesn't want to listen to those that know more about the Liberty than him, then oh well

I think he talked about 33's. Pretty sure he's lifted 4", there are a few around with that lift.

He's running 32s. He's also sitting at 22.5" up front and 23.75" in back. I know he wants to go bigger though. Stock is what ~18" on KKs? So that's 4.5" up front and almost 5.75" in back.

Just have a hard time why you cut and hack away to make tires fit , well not really fit but they hit all the time, are too big and really screw with the gas mileage etc
If you want 32s then lift/ regear and do it right
You'll have something then you can drive and enjoy :cheers2:
