did i mention that wheeling my rear sway bar mount on the frame rotted away ? well a few months after i fix it the other side went
broken
i didnt see a good place to weld at the time and didnt and still dont have a good enough welder so i put a very thick c channel inside the frame that is very long and welded nuts to it and a think l braket on the outside secure with bolts i performed same surgery on both sides and i been wheeling with it hard and it still holding up strong
i forgot to take pictures but i preaty much started with an idea of putting a front hitch so in the future i would have a hitch winch but insted i ended using the hitch as brakets and c clamp some steel beams and started cutting til i came up with something i like new project for this week is an actual hidden front hitch mount pictures to come later
I could take measurements il take up lose pictures of it later, I pretty much install a front hitch one day a week later it look empty to med so I took cople c clamps and some square tubing I had laying around and started welding stuff together
Ok thank man I really like how it look i cant wait to start building mine and why instead of putting the hitch u put a sheet of metal and use it at a skid plate?
Is mounted to the fram put a piece in rectangular plate well two of them and tap them and put heavy duty bolt to it 2 on each side and out of it I also attach my front brush guard
front gears and hd transfer case finally install and working right finish doing front yoke so it fit right i took a yoke from a d35 and mill it down to fit the d30
front high lift jack holder added to my front grill guard
completed snorkle i bought the fiber glass kit from another jeep owner that he bought from a friend so no way to trace where to buy this all i know is that its the same style snorkel as the ones use in europe for the diesel wj i believe this is the web site where to order them i think http://www.rocasilva.com/snorkel-conceptscar/spip.php?rubrique1
well here is the pictures
i always to take more pictures but im getting better at it
had to take the fender off to cut the hole for the house that goes to the inside part of the snorkel to the air box
next i plug the hole on the air box with the front bumper foam i still had laying around and i put water proof appoxy all over it every heal crack and all over the foam also cut a side hole on the inside of the air box i purchase a push tight pvc adapter that is use for a toilet and cut it up to fit the hole and seal it and screw it in tight for the air hose to connect to
here is the air box install and connected
completed snorkel
it got dark out so i turn my side lights on to help e clean up
