No, I was wondering if there are any groups going between TODAY and then. That weekend I'm actually busy so I won't be able to go. Was just seeing if anyone wanted to plan a day trip to go down before then
Are you talking about the 10th? I might be able to do that. Whats is your level of wheelin? I might invite a few others based on what you are looking to do.
I drive a stock LJ so what ever is easyish. Nothing to hard but I don't want to just putt around in 2WD either if that makes sense. and if the tenth is next Saturday I'm down to go. Let's do it.
OK, let me check with the wife to make sure that Saturday is clear.
All of the trails at Uwharrie can be easily done with your stock jeep, with the exception of Daniel. A few of the other trails have some hard spots/lines. You can take them or avoid them based on your comfort level. Do you have a rear locker? And what type tires do you have AT or MT? It doesn't matter either way, but might dictate what trails we take depending on the weather.
It looks like it is going to be on the 10th. I cant duck out on him now. I am in a group that is pretty active. If you want to connect up with us we organize trips on Facebook, Daily Driver Off-Roaders. (If you havent joined already. I just signed someone by the name of brandon up.) I dont check this forum that often. It seems to be quiet on the trail ride area.
OK, sounds good. We just took a jeep similar to yours with a group that went on Saturday. The open diffs will make it a little more difficult, but still lots of things to try.
The ride is still on for this Saturday for anyone interested.
