This thread is to serve as an inspiration to others modifying their ZJ's. Pretty simple, just post what you did to your ZJ today!

Today I shamefully took my Jeep to get the oil changed because it was to hot to change it myself.

I reconditioned them when I put them in. I soaked them in carb cleaner and changed their filters. I checked the resistance of 12 of them and took the 8 that had the closest value. In all honesty, after checking today, it may have been a looser connector that lowt connection when I hit a bump just long enough to throw the light. As far as the swap being worth it, no. Probably not. I didn't notice any difference in MPG or acceleration. It idled a little smoother after, but that is very marginal.
Passed it 23.000 times doing yardwork.

Thanks ej, kinda taking a very loose poll of people who have.
I looked into it when I swapped my motor best info I found was inconclusive! No one could say outright it was better. I opted not to do it.

I've thought about the injector swap too but at the same time I bet just "reconditioning" the stock ones would yield similar results.

Any work that's for nothing is to much work!

Here's the fender. Good enough reason to buff the rest I guess! But it won't really match till I get the trail rash on it.

I unplugged all the injectors today and plugged them back in a few times each. I don't have any contact cleaner at home so that will have to do for now. I pulled my battery cable for a little while and the check engine light is now gone. Hopefully it was a fluke. I have to go for emissions in a couple months and don't want to have to fix crap before I go.

Sold it to fund an xj project... Think I must have got an abused lemon of a zj so I gave up on it just couldn't keep it running
I sold/ traded my rusty '94 Stang GT for a 2000 Cherokee, 2 door Plane Jane, 4.0, 231. Part of the trade includes a 8.75. I think at this point we are both happy! I got a dozen or so texts of new "Steve McQueen" style conquests in the first 48 hours, LOL! I have found no major rust, some damage to the LH door frame, quarters were a bit butchered. 134,000 miles on the XJ, runs/ drives nice. It does not have sway bars though, first JY search..
But the best part was a new Jeep friend!! We are hooking up for several mutual projects. Can't beat that!!
