Fixed leaking rear differential seal. Unfortunately, two top bolts were broken off. And the only way to get to them was to drop the fuel tank. And, to do that, I had to remove the factory tow bar. Turned into a much larger project than expected.

I'd post photos...but apparently my phone makes photos that are about 4KB too large.
I use an app called Simple Resize for lower res versions for forums.

My bumper is completely finished and I will be taking it for powder coating on Monday. I hopefully will have the bumper mounted by the end of next week depending on my work schedule.

Im sorry but why did you drop your fuel tank instead of just lifting the body off of the axle..? It would have given you enough room.

Amazing. U did all the fab work yourself? Blueprint? I'm newish so Im still learning but that style is perfect for the WJ. Thumbs up. Can't wait to see it completed and installed.
I bought the cad files online for the bumper. I had a family member who welds for a living fab it for me.

255 75 17. Put 130 miles on them already. No complaints yet. I was running the crappy sr-a's so just about anything is an improvement. The Firestone dealer by my house is kicka$$ and they always do a great job.
how much lift you running, im going to do a 2in bb just wondering how they fit... I too have crappy sra,s on don't like them look like s##t send pic :)

I came back to the WJ in a parking lot and saw a little puddle of coolant :/

Took me a while to find out where it was coming from, it seems to come from the drivers side bottom corner where the metal is pressed on to the plastic tank. Right behind the drain cock. Kind of confusing though, because after it leaked that one time, it hasnt leaked since

Received Bilsteins and BB kit that I will try and install this weekend

Replaced factory dash speakers with some polk 3.5s that are on sale at crutchfield for $30 shipped, i recommend them. Took about 2 minutes of trimming to make them fit into the dash.
Also plastidipped front upper and lower grill, fixed ac (hopefully), replaced taillights, installed roof rack cross bars, installed powered sub...I think that is it.
I replaced my stock infinity "tweeters" with the polk db351s. Sounded so much better but way off balance till I installed the new rear speakers. Now I need some for the front doors, probably something polk as well. I agree its well worth modding the dash for the polk 3.5s.
