Stole this idea from the TJ forum who stole it from the YJ forum. When I had my TJ this was one of the best threads to get ideas from and was full of great pics.

I'll start us off.

Today I powerwashed the heck out of it after my trip on Sunday to the Badlands. See HERE for trail report.

Got naked about 80% of the way, still not comfortable having the kids in the back and no doors. Also decided it was a good day to paint the hard top black instead of the ugly white they make them in. Painted the freedom tops a couple weeks ago just the rest yesterday. Also drove an hour north and got caught in my first rain storm without the doors. Fun times:D

*note the plasti dip in the pictures was NOT used for the top. I painted the top with Krylon fusion paint, the plasti dip was just there from a previous adventure.

*the storm clouds opened up about 2 minutes after that picture was taken and is was a heavy rain.

Hard with kids. I will remove doors in town, small town , for the kids but not when leaving town.

Thanks! Tried coming up with a cheaper solution than end caps and after market lights but now that I'm on take two it's about the same lol. Thinking about doing a right up on it in case anyone else was to steal my idea

I did the opposite of almost everybody, I have a 2 dr JK Sport, didn't have rock rails or side steps. I found cheap brand new 'used' EOM side steps that I installed yesterday. Mainly off roading to fishing spots on weekends and these don't impair its abilities for my use. These were to prevent rocks/dirt to be projected on my doors that were already showing signs of abrasion, will prevent door dents from others and providse me something to kick my boots on to remove slush in winter.
