Had problems with my TCM, namely P0700 and the whole [P][R][N][D] thing. Got some electrical contact cleaner from a computer parts supply store, and went to town ripping into the centre console. Pretty straight forward taking it apart and cleaning the contact strips, assembly was easy enough as I was patient and not in a rush. Hopefully the problem doesn't come back for another 100 000 k!

brush guard

Installed a brush guard on Sunday. Not a whole lot of protection, but I like the look and it will hold a 20" LED light bar that I bought.

Had to remove factory tow hooks, didn't install the radiator support brackets (passenger side bracket would need modification to avoid a couple of stainless steel lines, driver side fits just fine), and I didn't install the headlight guard portion of the brush guard.

Bought this Black Horse off road brush guard on on eBay for $250 shipped.

Overall, I'm happy with it.

(sorry, can't post pics. I give up. I've resized, renamed and put on the cloud. Still no luck).

Maybe this will allow access to my Pogoplug NAS:

So glad I rhinolined my grille & bumper, the bugs just come off with car wash sprayer. No more scrubing.

Installed Monroe Maxlift shocks #901617, on tailgate (Kolak) and picked up some 3/4" expanded aluminum sheet to mod the grill. I'm working out a pattern to add the sheet to the underside opening as well.

OME HD is on the way!

Gave her a good bath. Pretty dirty after sitting for three week. Then I changed my left washer nozzle. Second one in 147000km. Now I have to order a brake hardware kit (I'll do all corners), found out my front brake was dragging for quite a bit. Hope the pads are ok.

Replaced the center console lid. Mines was rising up in one spot where I always rest my arm. Got a darker color than the original light khaki and matches the offset brown interior color nicely and won't notice it getting dirty ever few days ( auto repair can leave you dirty in many places)

Installed my original version 4XGuard front skid;
Painted Dark Khaki with the wheels, so it's hard to see in this light.

Next will be the OME HD, Matrix, and headlights!
