The best is when you hear a new noise and say "hmm that's odd" and your gf is like "what? What is it? This car has so many problems I don't know why your parents put you at risk by not giving you a newer car"

And you're just like ....

My mother knows I am nuts, it is my mother in law that is funny. "You keep this is such good shape, is it really 17 years old, you do all the work on it, you really do go to those places off road don't you?" Priceless. Two trips from Virginia to Pennsylvania they borrowed it for the, "room it has," aside from using their newer vehicles or a rental, my butt was puckered both trips thinking of the worst.
Lmao my moms the same! Ill warn her of a new noise and not to worry and she just says ya I know, you will fix it NEXT weekend. My mother in law drove my pickup once and was freaked out and added no wonder you never have money with that gas milage! I hide stuff from my step dad though cause he will make me fix it before I leave his house. Then I owe him for the parts, when it was supposed to be a five min stop.

Edit: mother in law also thinks I can fix anything on her car because I have two ZJs in the driveway. Lol

I have a problem need some help before I throw money at it. So my front end is making a clicking noise on the front passenger tire. Only able to hear it at parking lot speeds don't matter if I'm going in reverse right left forward. Started happening after I sorta took it off road in a little bit of mud in 4wd. Its all stock going to replace the whole front end sometime just want to correct this clicking first.
Also the back passenger tire is making a grinding noise audible at 45 and up. Its a faint noise van really only hear it faintly with the windows up. That happened after I bought tires and the ****** didn't tighten them all the way down and it started getting real shakey back there while I was driving. I tightened it down after removing it and checking for damage. If you spin it you can hear a metal in metal noise. There is no up and down play, though ermmm... So I don't think its the bearings
