I figured since the other thread started out as talking about making a club, and what clubs are available, we should have a thread that's just dedicated to setting up trail runs.
The title says it all, and it'll be less cluttered.
So, the 9/18/10 Run to Potato Ridge was a success!
Next item on the schedule is Logandale on 10/23/10 according to McRoberts. Seems like we have a few interested parties! Who all is planning to attend?
If there is anything in the meantime, or someone local wants another rig to ride with them, just post up and see if anyone is available!
That's what I've converted Andy into!!!! And maybe his jeep is sold, crazy if it is!!!
And A/C is windows down, heater is windows up!!! All the amenities a man could want though honestly, long travel, cage, manual transmission, 17" front travel, 24 in the rear. Fosgate amp and 10" sub with infinity door speakers. A/C and heater is not a necessity to have fun! LOL
My god that is awful. Terribly modified TJ top and no supports on the body.
All the guys who go topless on their wags have huge issues with the body tweaking. It takes a ton of reinforcement to keep it from flexing and buckling.
Not the west side, but not too far east is the Flamingo Pet Clinic (2675 E Flamingo Rd #1). We have a Belgian Malinois and Rhodesian Ridgeback and have had nothing but great experiences with them.
We go to Centennial Hills Animal Hospital, 7551 N. Cimarron Road, LV NV 89131 (702) 655-0241 and have had nothing but great experiences with them. They are really nice, take time to talk with you and your pet, and keep a clean well run office. Pricing is reasonable too. I don't know if they specialize in any sorts of breeds though.
NW Vet hospital on jones and Cheyenne. I used to work for Dr Gumfory and he is the man. He's been practicing for 40yrs and is the most affordable guy in town. I can PM the number just ask. I'm taking my dog in tomorrow.
Remember the video I posted a few days ago of the dude destroying his truck on that jump. Here's another older one, same jump, different truck, same level of awesomeness!!!

I'm pretty sure that's a case of friends motivating you to do a little show boating and not enough experience to know what too much is. It also looks like he totally missed the race line and like hit the edge...
That's been a VERY popular spot for years! This is footage from back in '02 of the same spot during a race... In that opening shot jump in this one, Dan Vance, the driver actually breaks his back on that landing. Another side note, I'm actually riding shotgun in the truck at 3:31 and I think I've told a few of you that story of having to dump oil thru the transmission thru the entire race soaking my race suit in oil till I physically felt like I was on fire from chemical burns and then crossing the finish line with the shackle bolt about to fall out after having a couple flats... This video shows all that evidence. That was a LONG day!!! LOL My advice, if you ever find yourself having to rig up a coors light funnel to pour oil into the transmission nonstop virtually while on the fly. Take my word for it, tape the funnel low enough that you can visually see into it so you can tell when the oil has backed up and is about to spill over the top. Cause everytime it does that, you're bound to hit a jump or a whoop and have the entire funnel's worth of oil cover fly out and cover you in oil... hundreds of times over a few hours too...
That's a 7S, pretty much the same thing as a jeepspeed. Not much you can do when you're limited to 12" of travel and no bypass shocks. It's actually not nearly as bad inside as it looks from outside. I remember it feeling pretty much the same as Jason's truck honestly.
I've hit that jump probably 30-40 times in my truck doing about 30... Let me know when you want to go do it. Depending how things go, next time I hit it will be in a bigger truck and going faster yet. But in all seriousness, I love hits like that!!! Cruise up to them reasonably and pin it right at the base to compress the front end and rebound it hard off the lip! That stuff is so fun!
