I figured since the other thread started out as talking about making a club, and what clubs are available, we should have a thread that's just dedicated to setting up trail runs.

The title says it all, and it'll be less cluttered.

So, the 9/18/10 Run to Potato Ridge was a success!

Next item on the schedule is Logandale on 10/23/10 according to McRoberts. Seems like we have a few interested parties! Who all is planning to attend?

If there is anything in the meantime, or someone local wants another rig to ride with them, just post up and see if anyone is available!

It's okay Power, you're no worse then I am... All I do is build vehicles very capable of offroading but then I don't actually follow thru and use them! I spent a year building a race truck that got raced once. I've spent a few months building this expo that's gone down a dirt road once so far. My yota that I'm trying to sell, well it gets used occasionally but for the most part it collects dust cause I'm too busy building other rides that don't get used. I've got a very nicely built and well riding dirt bike that hasn't been used since April of 2012 and hasn't been raced since late 2011!!! LOL
it all comes down to time. I cant believe how little time i have to do things. The time on the forum is 90% at work, and right now because ive been eating breakfast and relaxing a bit before work. These dang little leaches people call children take time, money, and just about everything else they can find a way to drain out of you. lol My lift is on its way, and this weekend, Ill be getting more stuff on order from my OT check. Ill try to get stuff done while theyre napping and before work. Ive got plenty to do while saving for the remainder of the stuff I need. will just need shocks, driveshafts, and my belly pan. still, its very expensive, and will be a few weeks of saving. Ive got all the stuff to do my TC work, just need to drop it and install everything. Got the teralow and the SYE kit.

Every hobby is expensive and time consuming. I cannot believe how much some people pay to play golf.
right!? clubs are clubs! i think im in my setup maybe $300 and thats for a complete set, three drivers, and a bunch of balls, tees, and accessories. I also play at public courses, nothing over $50/round. of course, I havent played a round in like three years... lol

I'm pretty sure I could just take my putter and my driver to the golf course and play just as good as if I took my whole set. Then again, I wouldn't know, I've only been to the driving range, never actually been on a golf course and I got my clubs for like $40 off craigslist.

I'm "hoping" I'm done with my toyota this weekend!!! After this weekend it's 100% ready to sell assuming the dip shows up. If it sells, that's going to lead into the next project. If it doesn't sell and the deal doesn't work out then I just keep chipping away at it as I'd planned. Either way I'll have a fun go fast rig in the drive, one would just be more expensive but WAY WAY faster then the other depending which way the cards fall.

My expo, I'm $350 shy of being done on it... It's not even the cash, I just need to finalize a measurement and order my axle shaft. At that point to the best of my knowledge once I get the shaft in my hand I'll have about a day's worth of work to finish up install and adjustment wise and then it's ready to actually play with other then paint. Paint... I'm holding off on the paint at this point. Waiting to see what happens with the truck situation. I need to put all my spending on hold as much as I can till I know if I'm building a new one or not... I say that yet I'm doing dinner at serendipity tonight and seeing absinthe and then later this week buying plane tickets and then next week ordering an axle shaft... But after that I swear I'm done!!! I have to be just in case this other truck ends up in my driveway!!!

Oh... and buy my truck!!!

Ohhhhh, well last year was a first for me cutting the roof off a truck, I guess there's always a first for hacking up a front clip too. I'd be down to give it a shot but no promises on the finished product on this one cause I'm not a body guy by any means! I also am pretty slammed for the foreseeable future as far as time goes... Unless.... If you buy or find me a buyer for my truck I'll bump your job to the top of the priority list! LOL

Quick question for dog owners here: which vet would you recommend on the west side of town? Specifically it will be a shepherd.
