I figured since the other thread started out as talking about making a club, and what clubs are available, we should have a thread that's just dedicated to setting up trail runs.

The title says it all, and it'll be less cluttered.

So, the 9/18/10 Run to Potato Ridge was a success!

Next item on the schedule is Logandale on 10/23/10 according to McRoberts. Seems like we have a few interested parties! Who all is planning to attend?

If there is anything in the meantime, or someone local wants another rig to ride with them, just post up and see if anyone is available!

What do you all think would be the demand/success of an indoor air soft arena? Something that could set up different situations with opposing teams. Clearing a house, grocery store, warehouse, etc with good guys an bad guys with and without hostages. Sort of like an adult movie play time that can actually help train defensive techniques.

All depends on staff. If the players are left to their own devices, the venue will get a bad reputation and it will fail. With a staff that is into it and sets up games as well as actually watches over it, it will be a success.

Andy explain how it would get a bad reputation?
Paintball and air soft players talk. Even though I no longer play paintball competitively, I still know which fields are good and which are bad. Fields with a good staff and refs make the field. Unfortunately, you get a lot of fields that people refuse to play at because of reputation and it is very difficult to come back from that. When I was playing competitively, I wouldn't go to the field near my house, I would drive for 35 minutes because the staff at the closer field sucked. It closed a year and a half after it opened while a field on the far side of town out in the boonies flourished.

New bushings in, front control arms and spindles back on. Just need to mount shocks and brakes, set it on the ground and tighten everything up. Also got most of the front painted too... Looks too clean to offroad but almost tempted to take it out at least once more to hear what it's like without the insane squeeking of polyurethane bushings!!!!

Spent my night unpacking in the new place, and fixing broken furniture from the movers. Next little project I can hopefully get started on a carb redo on an old q-jet. This weekend will be spent ordering needed parts and possibly dipping it. This may be my excuse to buy a drill press.

I will likely be late to this Saturday's wings. I'm whoring myself out so I can get my lift sooner :shhh: so IF I get done or to a point where I can stop, I'll join. Wanna visit with Andy before he ships out! I'll text when on my way, or can you guys text if you leave?
I'll probably get the text saying, yeah come on down, we're still here....meanwhile, you guys are at bass proshops or somewhere else. Please don't do that, it would be effed up! Lol

Andy, Add some coilovers and a set of air bumps to this kit and go play 2wd!!!

That's the most smoking deal I've seen in ages!!! You could do your whole front end for $2500... Crap, anyone looking for a cheap fun higher speed desert ride. Pick yourself up a beater ranger for like $2000 or less, pickup that kit and some coilovers and air bumps. Slap some leafs in the rear with some nice shocks and a very basic cage along with some fiberglass and you'd be hauling butt in the desert for cheap!
