Let this thread be an inspiration to all of us doing mods, maintenance, or repairs.

I'll start it off, over the holiday weekend, I did an oil and filter change, fixed a couple rattles, did the front brakes (new rotors and pads), and swapped the brake fluid.

No need to re-take them, do this....

Very simple (assuming you are using Windows)....

This is a free image resizer program from microsoft.com Small program, easy to use, takes seconds to do, works perfectly.....

Click on the link below. It will take you to Microsoft's download web site.
You will see on the list "image resizer". Click the word "download" directly below it and go through the steps (save/run/install etc...)
Once installed, you right click on any image in your computer and a drop down window will appear. Click "resize image" on the list. A window will appear asking you what size to use. This forum uses "medium".
When you click the size you want it will make a duplicate of the image in your computer with the same name/number as the original with "(medium)" attached to it, and not change the original at all.
Flawless, quick, trusted. Merry Christmas.

(it's from Microsoft's web site, so you can trust it)

I am going to take advantage of this too. It's sometimes a pain to use my smart phone to upload images from PhotoBucket. Thanks!

Spent the last 2 days chasing the clicking sound all the sudden coming from my spartan up front. Everything checked out fine n I was just about to give up. Got home from work today n it's clicking more than ever, look at my passenger hub n notice the 36mm nut is loose, the abs tone ring on my tj shafts was clicking on the knuckle as it moved in and out a little bit as I drove. Some grease from the wheel bearing had made its way onto the shaft and under the nut. Cleaned everything and put a little red threadlocker on and retorqued to factory spec n all is quiet again . I was about to call Yukon n ask for their help haha but all the spring and pins in my spartan were good, I opened the diff and compressed all n checked my gears. Oh well atleast I'm click free now, people were looking at me like something was broken when I turned Into parking lots clicking. I figured it was just regular auto locker ratcheting noise, but boy am I glad it's gone...

fumbled around for awhile with my amp to see if I could fix it, I managed to get it to turn on again and it'll power a speaker/sub... but barely above the threshhold of hearing, which is not amplification

Not really up for a "mad bumpin' system, yo" but I do like some depth to my music the two speakers in the soundbar can't reach when I'm out and about. Bought a decently priced monoblock class-D amp online. If it lasts me half as long as this one did then it'll have been worth it (paid half what most vendors wanted, too). Might redo the enclosure for the old 10" subwoofer I use if it needs a bit more "oomphf".

Also, put up the soft top without rear windows and my windjammer. If rainy season gets worse I may eventually be bothered enough to replace the whole softtop with one that actually keeps more rain out

You are very welcome.

I did nothing to my YJ today other than look at it. :(

Came up with a system to oil my AC compressor automatically for my OBA. All I'll have to do is refill a container with oil as needed. This set up will be on the air intake of the compressor.

I like your videos too. Where's ripper been?

What's going to stop the oil from getting sucked up within the first 5 min of use though?
