seriously, one of these threads needs to stay alive in the XJ/MJ section and what better time to get a real one going then now with the creation of the XJ/MJ GD. now, lets keep this going.

for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

What about Gateway Park ? Or , Marquette Park ? Or Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore ? Or ...
Those don't count for me. I like the ocean. I like the west coast, north of the Klamath River Delta more than the east or the gulf though. But Indiana is where my family is these days. I do plan on heading up to Dunes one of these days though.

As for my Jeep, I rotated the tires the other day and now I have DW at 50mph...not 45 and not 55, just at 50. I'm thinking it's a tire balance issue.

Well , picky , picky ... :D

You might try popping the bead on those front tires and tossing a bottle of BBs in each one . Less the bottles and caps , of course . ;)

I think he means the valve stem core has to be removed .

I used a BFH and a piece of 2x4 ( rounds corners/edges ) .

But , if you have a vacuum pump , it would be a hot knife through melted butter easy . ;)
Yeah whoops, cheers for the catch.

You might need a ratchet strap to reseat it, sometimes it helps to push the bead in
That BFH will do nicely . :D

I also use a spray ( bottle filled with real dish soapy water ) around the rim . It helps with both off and on procedures .
Thanks for the tips, Mates. :highfive: I do have a giant 20,000lb limit ratchet strap that I "acquired" when I was in the army.

I have to do something this weekend, I can't handle it much longer, and I know it is probably wreaking havoc on my steering components/bushings/etc.
